Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility team and help patients regain function and independence. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments tailored to each patient in a supportive, compassionate environment.

Ideal candidates will be licensed or eligible for licensure and hold NBCOT certification, with a dedicated focus on patient-centered care and collaboration within the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities and follow developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments as part of patient rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to address the whole patient and promote independence.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and adapt plans to individual needs.

Education
