Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy programs and follow established recovery plans. You will implement prescribed activities, monitor progress, and support patients in regaining independence.

You will work closely with the Director of Rehab and the broader team to ensure compassionate, high-quality care while addressing each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program compliant with AOTA/ACOTE.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and help patients regain abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to coordinate patient care and progress.
• Support holistic patient care, addressing physical and functional goals.
• Engage with patients and families to ensure compassionate, high-quality service.
