Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our home health therapy team in Florida. You will assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans, lead therapeutic activities, and document patient progress to support recovery and independence.

The ideal candidate will hold an OTA degree/certificate, current OTA certification, CPR, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds with patient transfers up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant training program.
• Current OTA certification in state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with geriatrics/home health.
• One year experience preferred.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; move/transfer patients up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients’ strength, mobility, and function.
• Provide training to individuals and others in rehabilitation and document results.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Support the treatment plan by documenting and reporting status changes to the multidisciplinary team.
• Other duties as assigned.
