Job summary
Total Care Therapy LLC is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rapidly growing team in Cincinnati, OH. You will work alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance quality of life in assisted living and independent living settings.
We offer per-visit compensation based on experience, a full-time schedule with flexible weekends, and opportunities for professional growth within a therapist-owned
Qualifications
- Current State Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Experience in geriatrics or related settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled OTA treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Assist residents with ADLs/IADLs to promote independence.
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength and balance.
- Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
- Complete documentation in the EMR per facility policy.
- Educate residents and caregivers on safety, energy conservation and fall prevention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain a full clinical caseload with compassionate service.
