Job summary
Total Care Therapy in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our growing, therapist-owned team in Hilliard. You’ll work alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents improve mobility, independence, and quality of life through patient-centered, evidence-based care.
This full-time role offers flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement as we expand across Ohio.
Qualifications
- Licensed PTA in the state of Ohio.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred.
- Leadership experience or potential is valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Deliver activities to improve ADLs, IADLs, balance, strength and cognition.
- Monitor progress and document changes in EMR.
- Educate residents and caregivers on safety, adaptive equipment, and energy conservation.
- Collaborate with OT and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
- Maintain a productive clinical caseload with compassionate service.
