San Marcos Rehabilitation in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. You will provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, focusing on cognitive and physical function improvements for geriatric patients.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited OTA program and an active state license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Hold a current and active state license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments as required by regulatory and clinical practice.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising OT.
