Job summary

Cedar Pointe Health & Wellness Center in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program within a skilled nursing facility offering long-term care and post-acute therapy services.

As a Full Time OTA, you’ll provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, participate in ADL retraining and therapeutic activities, and help our geriatric patients on their journey to recovery. Apply to learn more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
