Job summary

Miami Jewish Health in Miami, FL is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support Florida PACE Centers under the supervision of an OT. You will contribute to assessments, treatment planning, and program implementation for older adults with complex medical needs.

The role requires Florida OTA licensure, BLS, and strong communication and teamwork skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Onsite work with a compassionate team offering competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-approved curriculum with Florida licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Current Florida State Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the OT in participant assessments and formulate intervention plans.
• Implement treatment programs and document progress per plan.
• Provide supervision to rehabilitation aides and students.
• Communicate OT services and intervention plans to participants, caregivers and IDT members.
• Maintain timely documentation and ensure safety and adherence to guidelines.
