Job summary

Miami Jewish Health seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the Florida PACE Centers. You will assist in assessments, develop and implement OT programs, and work under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist to improve participant outcomes.

Requirements include a Florida OTA license and BLS, with a preference for bilingual English/Spanish, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within an IDT environment. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-approved program with Florida licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist OT in participant assessments and development of intervention plans.
• Implement treatment programs designed by OT with measurable outcomes.
• Maintain timely documentation and comply with department standards.
• Collaborate with IDT and educate participants and caregivers as needed.
• Provide supervision to rehabilitation aides and students as directed.
