Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for Autumn Care of Biscoe in Biscoe, NC. This full-time role focuses on returning patients to optimal function in a skilled nursing facility, with instruction for independent exercise and discharge planning.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, current OTA license and state licensure, plus proficiency with EHR software. Sign-on bonus of $3,000 is offered. Employment benefits and education opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college is required.
• Current and valid license in OTA field from the state of employment.
• Must hold a valid license granted from the state of employment and be able to navigate EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Restore the patient to optimal physical function in a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients in maintenance after discharge through education and an independent exercise program.
• Support therapy goals under supervision of the OT and DOR.

Position Summary

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
