Job summary

Autumn Care of Biscoe in Biscoe, NC is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support our therapy team in a skilled nursing facility. You will help return patients to optimal function under supervision of the OT and DOR, including education and independence exercises.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree and an OTA license, with opportunities for continuing education and career growth within a supportive, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR and service delivery software.

Responsibilities

• Restore patients to optimal physical function in a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients in maintaining function after discharge via education and exercise.
• Collaborate with OT and Director of Rehabilitation to meet patient and therapy goals.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.

• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.

• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
