Job summary

CASL is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Adaptive Behavior Support team in Chicago. You will deliver ABS therapy, including Early Intervention, to individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities, partnering with a multidisciplinary team and caregivers to improve social-emotional development and independence.

You will document progress, participate in treatment planning, and engage families with practical strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Licensed OTA in Illinois is required.
• Experience working with children/adults with ASD or developmental disabilities preferred.
• DIRFloortime Basic/Proficiency/Advance certificates within specified timeframes are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABS therapy including Early Intervention services.
• Assess behavioral needs and develop treatment plans.
• Document therapy sessions and progress notes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and caregivers.
• Provide education to caregivers on ABS strategies at home.
• Work a schedule with 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with one rotating Saturday per month.
