Job summary

Turlock Nursing & Rehab in Turlock, CA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program serving geriatric patients.

Full-time hours with a competitive pay range of $45 - $48 per hour, based on experience. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance to support your transition. Join a stable therapy team focused on CAPLICO values and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in consultation with the supervising OT.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Turlock Nursing & Rehab in Turlock, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time: Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay: $45 - $48 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
