Grossmont Post Acute in La Mesa, CA, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab program. Schedule options include Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday; pay ranges from $37–$41 per hour based on experience and weekend availability.

The role requires graduation from an accredited COTA program and an active state license. We welcome candidates with all levels of experience to provide care for geriatric and post-acute patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Grossmont Post Acute in La Mesa, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time : Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule
Pay : $37 - $41 /hour based on experience and willingness to work weekends

Duties:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
