Heritage Court Post Acute Care in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist you will provide rehabilitative, skilled treatments, administer ADL retraining and therapeutic activities, and assess patient progress to inform ongoing care.

Eligibility includes graduation from an accredited OTA program and an active state license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Education

Heritage Court Post Acute Care in Scottsdale, AZ, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

FULL TIME

Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $28 - $35/hour based on experience

Duties
