Flagship Therapy in San Diego, CA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab program at Golden Hill Post Acute. You will work under an OT supervisor to deliver rehabilitative services to geriatric patients, focusing on ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and functional recovery.

The role welcomes candidates with all levels of experience and requires graduation from an accredited COTA program and an active state license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active state license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - FULL TIME - GOLDEN HILL POST ACUTE - SAN DIEGO, CA

Golden Hill Post Acute in San Diego, CA is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program. Full time: Flexible schedule with work-life balance. Pay: $35 - $45/hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
