Job summary

Flagship Therapy is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Grossmont Post Acute in La Mesa, CA. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday; pay $37-$41/hour depending on experience and willingness to work weekends. Under supervision, provide rehabilitative interventions, administer procedures, assess progress, and document outcomes. Requires graduation from an accredited COTA program and current state license; all experience levels welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in line with regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

GROSSMONT POST ACUTE – LA MESA, CA

TUESDAY-SATURDAY or SUNDAY-THURSDAY SCHEDULE

Grossmont Post Acute in La Mesa, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule

Pay: $37 - $41/hour based on experience and willingness to work weekends

Duties:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
