Flagship Therapy in Pensacola, FL is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) to join our in-house rehab program at Englewood Heights Post-Acute and Rehab.

The PTA license is required; new grads are welcome to apply. The role involves screening, treatment, patient counseling, and discharge planning within regulatory guidelines, supporting geriatric patients on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative interventions in accordance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting and repositioning of patients and equipment as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual therapy, ambulation, exercises, modalities and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries and ensure regulatory compliance.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT – PRN ENGLEWOOD HEIGHTS POST-ACUTE AND REHAB – PENSACOLA, FL Join our team and start making a difference! We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program! Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
