Englewood Heights Post-Acute and Rehab in Pensacola, FL is seeking a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver skilled therapies in a geriatric facility.

Open to OTs at all experience levels; new grads welcome. The role emphasizes collaboration with care teams, regulatory compliance, and patient-focused discharge planning, while supporting CAPLICO values of Celebration, Accountability, and Ownership.

Qualifications

• OT license is required.

Responsabilités

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans in line with standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments for physical disorders.
• Assist with standing/walking throughout the facility; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families and care teams regarding physical disorders; document discharge summaries to comply with regulations.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at Englewood Heights Post-Acute and Rehab in Pensacola, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated PRN Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.


• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.


• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.


• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.


• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
