Flagship Therapy in Carrabelle, FL is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves delivering rehabilitative care to geriatric patients in a post-acute setting, with alignment to regulatory standards and clinical guidelines.

The OTA will perform screenings, develop care plans, administer treatments, assist with transfers, and provide counseling to patients and families. A valid OTA license is required; new grads are welcome to apply.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Carrabelle, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistants for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
• Open to OTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
