Position: School-based COTA

Job Type:Full-time or Part-time (School Year Only)

WESTARM Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time or part-timeCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)to provide school-based therapy services to students across multiple school districts, including Kiski, Freeport, and New Kensington. This position follows the academic calendar, with summers off. Candidates must be available to travel to different districts on assigned days.

Location:Kiski, Freeport, New Kensington School Districts

Responsibilities (COTA):

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Support students in achieving IEP goals through individualized and group sessions
• Document IEP components such as present levels, goals, and service time in the district's IEP system
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Collaborate effectively with special education team members, teachers, and related service providers
• Complete quarterly progress reports when required

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current COTA certification and Pennsylvania state licensure (or eligibility)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work across multiple sites

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Follows the school-year calendar (summers off)

Compensation:

• Competitive pay, based on experience
• Varies based on full- or part-time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
