All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding therapy team in the Greater Las Vegas area. COTA Responsibilities:

  • Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR).
  • Monitor patients’ activities, ensuring proper performance and providing encouragement.
  • Participate in meetings and case conferences to develop coordinated care plans for pediatric patients.
  • Document patient progress weekly in the appropriate records.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques related to the treatment plan, under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Demonstrate exercises to help patients perform daily tasks and alleviate pain.
  • Complete clinical notes promptly using the company’s EMR system.
  • Verify client information through interviews and review of medical history to confirm treatment purposes.
  • Follow treatment plans by teaching proper techniques for mobility and stretching exercises.
  • Monitor activities, providing encouragement and alerting the therapist to ineffective treatments.
  • Maintain pediatric occupational therapy records documenting client progress.
  • Record billing information for services provided to generate revenue.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and legal regulations.
  • Uphold professional standards and comply with policies, federal, state, and local laws.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Willingness to participate in continued education courses.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Valid State driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
