Occupational Therapy Assistant

Summary:

Provide occupational therapy and related services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and adhering to all regulations and company guidelines. Deliver quality patient care, including ongoing treatment, supervision of Rehab Techs (if required), and case management, while maintaining professional conduct and rapport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Optimize patients' functional abilities under OT supervision
• Develop and build a strong occupational therapy assistant program
• Enhance clinical and management skills through collaboration and continuing education
• Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed about industry issues
• Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and appropriate treatment delivery methods
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions
