Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare - North Shore (MA) is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive home-based therapy, assessing patients, creating and adjusting plans of care, and coordinating with physicians to promote independence and wellness at home.

The role requires a state license, eligibility for national certification, and a minimum of one year in acute care; Home Health experience is preferred to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the AMA/AOTA or certified by National Certification examination
• Eligible for National Registration Examination of the AOTA
• Licensed by the state Board of Occupational and Physical Therapy Examiners where practicing
• Minimum of one year in an acute care setting
• One year Home Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Return the individual to optimum and productive living within the patient’s capability.
• Participate with other home care personnel in patient’s care planning.
• Provide prescribed occupational therapy and all skilled procedures.
• Initial assessment, plan of care maintenance, development and reassessments every 30 days.
• Consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Compensation And Schedule

• $38-$45 per visit
• Monday through Friday
• Weekends as needed
• PRN

What We’re Looking For

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and /or certified by successfully completing the National Certification examination, -or-
• Eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Currently licensed by the Board of Occupational and Physical Therapy Examiners in the state in which practicing, unless licensure does not apply
• Minimum of one year in an acute care setting.
• One (1) year experience in Home Health preferred.
