Job description

Join to apply for the Occupational Therapy Assistant role at Brookside Health & Rehab.

Brookside Healthcare Services is looking for clinicians to join our rehabilitation departments in Montgomery counties. We have Part-Time and PRN positions available. Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment modalities may include individual, concurrent, and group sessions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing excellent training for residents and caregivers.
  2. Documenting services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis.
  3. Demonstrating knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
  4. Exhibiting courtesy, compassion, and respect to residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers.
  5. Continuously updating knowledge to remain current in the field.
  6. Complying with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures to protect residents’ health information.
  7. Participating in clinical program development and implementation.
  8. Contributing to team meetings and decision-making processes.
  9. Ensuring service and operational excellence of all activities to deliver quality outcomes.
  10. Participating in training and orientation of staff, students, and volunteers.
  11. Engaging in quality improvement activities as needed.
  12. Performing administrative duties such as overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, and supply ordering, as assigned.
