Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA is hiring an Occupational Therapist for BMC VNA Occupat Therapy. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the rehab team and contribute to the patient’s plan of care.

Requirements include MA OT license or eligibility, graduation from an accredited OT program, and a valid driver’s license. Two years of experience preferred; hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to clients of the agency. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care, including collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patient’s comprehensive plan of care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Minimum of two years preferred.

Education and Training:

Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree program in Occupational Therapy.

License, Certification & Registration:

MAOT - Licensed or license eligible (within 6 month ) Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.

Current and valid driver’s license.

Other Requirements:

Rehabilitation equipment including but not limited to:

• splints
• orthoses
• wheelchairs
• ADL equipment
• modalities.

The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
