Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the BMC VNA Physical Therapy team. The role focuses on direct patient care and collaboration within the care team to develop comprehensive plans.

This full-time position offers an 8am-4:30pm schedule, Monday–Friday, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. MA licensure (MAPT) is required, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• MAPT licensed physical therapist in Massachusetts.
• Graduate from an accredited PT program (Baccalaureate, Master’s or Doctorate).
• Minimum of two years preferred.

DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION

The physical therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients of the agency. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care, including collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patient’s comprehensive plan of care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

(Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:

Minimum of two years preferred.

Education and Training:

Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate, Master’s or Doctorate degree program in physical therapy.

License, Certification & Registration:

MAPT - Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.

Current and valid driver’s license.

Other Requirements:

• Rehabilitation equipment including but not limited to:
• splints,
• orthoses
• wheelchairs,
• ADL equipment
• Modalities.

The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
