Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and professional standards.

The role requires licensure eligibility or active OT license, BLS certification, and a willingness to respond to emergencies. Weekend rotation and weekday hours are included as part of the staffing plan.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must hold a current Occupational Therapy license or be eligible in the hiring state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs.
• Promote growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility

Current BLS through the American Heart Association

National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
