Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs. The role requires licensure, current BLS certification, and the ability to respond to emergencies in the clinical setting.

The incumbent will contribute to department growth by assisting with special projects and coordinating patient care activities, working within the state practice act and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs within the scope of the State Practice Act and governing bodies.
• Promotes growth and development of the department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
