Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs. You will apply treatment skills within the State Practice Act and regulatory guidelines while promoting department growth through collaboration on special projects.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited OT program, a current MO license or eligibility (temporary license up to 90 days), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs to achieve maximum potential.
• Delivers treatment within the scope of the State Practice Act and in compliance with governing bodies.
• Assists in special projects and coordinates activities in patient care programs to promote department growth.
