Job summary

Cassia Community is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join Pro Rehab's Fargo team on a temporary, full-time PRN basis for fall/winter coverage. The role requires strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education to improve independence in daily tasks.

The position is based in Fargo, ND, with a wage of $48 per hour and a 35-40 hour work week from November 2026 through January 2027.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess current North Dakota OTR license.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations in long-term care.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to understand physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Provide therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, home modifications, and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Job description

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring an Occupational Therapist. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at Fargo Elim Health Care Center temporarily.

Position Type: Full-Time PRN - 35 - 40 Hours a week from November 2026 - January 2027

Wage Range: $48 / hour

Location: 3534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND, 58104

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree.
• Must possess a current Accredited NDOccupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
