Cassia, in partnership with Pro Rehab at Allina Health Restorative Suites in Plymouth, MN, is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join a senior care campus.

New grads welcome; wage range $40-$46 per hour; full-time with benefits and a $5,000 bonus. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment plans, therapeutic activities, caregiver education, progress monitoring, and collaboration with doctors and therapists.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current Minnesota Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
