Job summary

Pro Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Fargo Elim Health Care Center team on a temporary, full-time PRN basis from November 2026 through January 2027. The role supports OTs in delivering patient-centered care at a busy facility in Fargo, ND.

Applicants must hold an Accredited OTA program graduate status with an active COTA license, strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, and solid skills in ADL-focused therapy, documentation, and collaboration with care

Qualifications

• Graduated from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current COTA license.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Experience providing patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings.

Position Type:Full-Time PRN - 35 - 40 Hours a week from November 2026 - January 2027
Wage Range:$40 / hour

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistance Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current NDOccupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
