Riverstone Post Acute in Salina, KS, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (DOR) to provide rehabilitative therapy for patients with cognitive and ADL functional disorders. The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions, patient progress documentation, and coordination with the health team.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, active state licensure, and 2+ years of skilled nursing facility experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active state license
• 2+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility environment

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with ADL and cognitive disorders and develop care plans
• Provide rehabilitative therapy using evidence-based interventions
• Administer ADL retraining and therapeutic activities per plan
• Document progress and adjust treatment based on regulatory requirements
• Communicate with care team and families about patient progress and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate electronic records and minutes of therapy sessions
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA standards and company policies

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

Active state license

2+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility environment
