Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist/OTR to evaluate and treat residents at our Smoky Hill facility in Salina, Kansas. This role supports an interdisciplinary team in a modern setting with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment.

Candidates must hold a Kansas OT license; geriatric rehabilitation experience is preferred. Join a large team and contribute to comprehensive discharge planning and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kansas license/certification for Occupational Therapy (OT).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; organizational and analytical abilities required.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates independent clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Meets physical requirements to deliver responsibilities.
• Geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process/background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develops an overall plan of care with treatment duration, frequency, short- and long-term goals to support discharge.
• Therapists of all disciplines perform skilled treatments per the plan of care.
• Documents patient observations, responses to interventions, and progress within required timeframes.
• Completes all documentation timely and per state/federal regulations and policies.
• Performs billing of skilled services on the date of provision, following policies.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment areas with infection prevention practices.
