Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in sunny Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a 6‑month contract-to-perm opportunity with flexible scheduling and relocation assistance.

You will plan, organize, develop, and direct OT services to maintain high-quality resident care, supervise a COTA, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires an OT degree and an active license, plus ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in practicing state.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy with licensure.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention and treatment for each patient.
• Evaluate residents to develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents, families, and the team.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per plan.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and treatments meet standards.
