Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in sunny South Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house SNF team. This is a 6-month contract-to-permanent opportunity, with relocation assistance and a flexible schedule to suit you.

You will plan, organize, develop and direct OT services, screen residents, develop treatment plans, communicate findings to residents and families, and supervise COTA as needed, ensuring compliant documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
• OT degree is required and licensure maintained

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best interventions and treatments
• Evaluate residents and develop short- and long-term goals
• Communicate findings and plans to residents, families, and team
• Schedule resident therapy in coordination with team
• Provide therapy per plan and ensure proper documentation and billing
• Oversee COTA and ensure clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices
