Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Illinois or eligible to practice in Illinois.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers OT treatment plans to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall health.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Documents care according to department and practice standards.
• Acts as a clinical instructor and participates in team meetings.

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
