Qualifications

• Licensed OT with current license.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistive support and maintains safe body mechanics.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Assesses for, creates, modifies, fits custom splints/orthotics.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and plan of care.
• Performs examinations with reliable methods relevant to chief complaint and history.
• Monitors care delivered by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Documents care according to department standards.
• Meets customer service and productivity standards.
• Acts as clinical instructor when assigned.
• Participates in team and department meetings.
