Jobot is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Alamogordo, NM for a permanent, on-site role. You will develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and work with an interdisciplinary team to enhance daily living skills and safety.

The successful candidate will hold OT licensure, have 2+ years of experience, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. This position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar healthcare role.
• Proficient in treatment planning and plan of care development.
• Experience educating patients and caregivers; emphasize safety and falls risk.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and durable medical equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong confidentiality adherence and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsabilidades

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Create and implement detailed plans of care with activities.
• Educate patients and caregivers to support participation in treatment.
• Prioritize safety awareness and falls risk reduction in activities.
• Conduct discharge planning and recommend durable medical equipment.
