Job summary

Spring River in Roswell, NM seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a full-time basis with PRN opportunities. The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled interventions to promote independence and quality of life.

Applicants should have SNF or long-term care experience, knowledge of current OT practices, and familiarity with EMR systems such as Net Health.

Qualifications

• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and principles.
• Experience with Net Health or similar EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve function and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Position Overview

The OT works closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
