Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to organize and deliver medically prescribed programs that help patients reach maximum potential under state practice guidelines. The role supports department growth through special projects and coordinated patient care activities.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited OT degree, current license or eligibility in Oklahoma, and a current BLS certificate; NBOT certification is preferred. Must be able to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license or eligibility within the hiring state; may work under temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs to achieve maximum potential.
• Promote growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
