Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, NE. You will evaluate patients, create individualized care plans, and provide hands-on therapy to improve daily living activities and independence.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and supervise therapy assistants. New graduates are welcome to apply, with opportunities to grow within Hillcrest Rehab Services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program required.
• Active Nebraska Occupational Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve independence.
• Document accurately and timely; charge for services per guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and therapy colleagues.
• Supervise therapy assistants and support personnel within regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate patient transitions and recommend equipment or resources as needed.
• Educate patients and families about plans, safety, and adaptive strategies.
