Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapist (Occupational Therapy) to evaluate, plan and implement rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from burns, disease or injury. Working under the Clinical Supervisor of Rehab, you will partner with patients and families to deliver personalized care and help restore independence.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Arizona OT license, BLS, and 0–1 year of OT experience (burn center exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and active AZ OT licensure.
• 0–1 year of OT experience in inpatient/outpatient settings; burn center orientation 40 hours or burn experience in last 5 years.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months; strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized OT treatment plans.
• Assist patients in regaining mobility and independent daily living tasks.
• Train patients in adaptive tools, splints and assistive devices.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities with progress monitoring.
• Educate patients and families for seamless aftercare and outpatient transitions.
