Job summary

Exalt Health Rehabilitation Hospital Scottsdale is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence after illness or injury. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to address diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered OT license in the state where practicing.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Support development of functional, cognitive, and vocational skills.
• Recommend home modifications or assistive devices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers to create a care plan.
• Document patient progress and outcomes to measure effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families on maintaining function after discharge.
• Stay up-to-date with OT practices through continuing education.
