Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patients as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track goals.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice in interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services accordingly.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients and families.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
• Document all required information in electronic systems and maintain records.
• Participate in trainings, in-services and conferences.
• Able to supervise PTA's/rehabilitation aides and students.
• Adhere to policy, procedures and code of conduct.
• Maintain active State Licensure.
