Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist in California to evaluate, plan and administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician. The OT will work to restore function and help patients reach their maximum level of performance while living within their abilities.

The role requires graduation from an OT program or ACOTE-accredited MS certificate, a California license or eligibility, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Baccalaureate Degree program in Occupational Therapy or an ACOTE-accredited MS Certificate.
• California OT license current or eligible.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer OT modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Assist patients to reach maximum performance and living within their capabilities, to restore function.
