Job summary

Mission Hospital McDowell, a member of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team in Marion, North Carolina.

Evaluate patients, develop care plans, provide evidence-based therapy, document outcomes, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safe transitions of care and high-quality rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current North Carolina OT license.
• New graduates eligible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients’ functional abilities and develops therapy plans.
• Provides skilled interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitors progress, adjusts plans, documents outcomes thoroughly.
• Educates patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary partners for seamless care transitions.
• Leads by example, guiding therapy assistants and students.
