Job summary

Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our care team in Texas. The OT will develop and implement treatment plans, set functional goals, and collaborate with physicians to support discharge planning.

You will supervise OT assistants and students while educating patients and families about therapy outcomes and equipment needs. The role emphasizes adherence to the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, ethics, and timely patient education.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy (or related field with OT certification)
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas is required
• Current CPR certification is required
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goal-directed treatment plans based on in-depth evaluation and physician orders
• Establish objective functional goals aligned with patient and discharge plans
• Supervise OT staff and students on a routine basis
• Educate patients and caregivers on OT services, procedures, and goals
• Prepare for client discharge including home modifications and equipment needs
