Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer OT programs to restore function and promote independence for patients. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and appropriate clinical experience.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning when evaluating patients.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and colleagues in a friendly, supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements OT plans of care to restore function and prevent disability.
• Delivers treatment using evidence-based therapy techniques including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Performs reassessment and adjusts OT plans as needed.
• Documents patient progress and communicates with supervisors and the care team.
• Provide supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
